Connecting Facebook Account

Important Notes

⚠️ Facebook Personal Profiles are NOT supported. You can only connect Facebook Pages.

Prerequisites

Before connecting:

• A Facebook account with Admin access to Pages
• Facebook Pages created and active
• Business verification may be required for some features

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Access Accounts Page

1. Log into Zirora Pulse
2. Click Accounts in the sidebar
3. Click "Add New Social"

Step 2: Select Facebook

1. Choose Facebook from the platform list

Step 3: Facebook Authorization

1. You'll be redirected to Facebook

2. Log in if prompted

3. Review requested permissions:

   • Manage your Pages
   • Read Page engagement data
   • Show a list of your Pages
   • Access your public profile

4. Click "Continue" then "Done"

Step 4: Select Pages

1. After authorization, you'll see all your Facebook Pages
2. Select the Page you want to connect

Step 5: Complete Setup

1. Your Facebook Page will appear in Accounts
2. You can now post and schedule to this Page

Facebook Business Verification

Some Pages may require business verification. If prompted:

1. Follow Facebook's verification process
2. This usually takes 1-3 business days
3. Return to Zirora Pulse after verification

Permissions Required

Pages Permissions

• pages_manage_posts: Create and manage posts
• pages_read_engagement: Read insights and engagement
• pages_show_list: See list of your Pages

Public Profile

• public_profile: Basic profile information

Troubleshooting

"No Pages Available"

• Ensure you're an Admin on Facebook Pages
• Check if Pages are published (not drafts)
• Verify you're logged into correct Facebook account

"Permission Denied"

• Business verification may be required
• Check Page restrictions or violations
• Try reconnecting with full permissions

"Cannot Post"

• Verify Page is not restricted
• Check if Page is published
• Ensure you have posting permissions

Managing Multiple Pages

If you manage multiple Pages:

1. All connected Pages appear separately
2. You can post to multiple Pages simultaneously
3. Each Page maintains its own identity

Re-authentication

Facebook tokens expire. To refresh:

1. Go to Accounts page
2. Click ⋮ on the Facebook account
3. Select "Re-authenticate"
4. Follow authorization flow
